Biography
I graduated the Fine Arts High School in Cluj-Napoca, Romania in 1986 and The Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, Romania - History and Theory of Arts, in 1991.
In 2005 I got a phd degree at the University "Valahia", Targoviste with the theme ” New and Classic Methods in the Conservation and Restoration of Textile Objects”.
I started my career as a textile restorer at the Village Museum in Bucharest, where I worked 16 years. The next 8 years I was a counsellor in the Ministry of Culture of Romania, then the manager of the Memorial Museum "Octavian Goga", in Ciucea, Cluj for the next five years.
Since 2019 I have been the Head of the Conservation and Restoration Department at the Cotroceni National Museum from Bucharest, Romania.
